Leonard Parker worked for the Maxwell Company for 11 years furnishing hotels throughout the US and Caribbean. In 1969 he founded the Leonard Parker Company and created the Agent Only system of Purchasing used today by virtually every purchasing company in America. In 1996, sold the Leonard Parker Company to Hospitality Worldwide Services, a public company and served as a Board Member and Chairman until retiring in 2003. Leonard was an innovator of purchasing software for hospitality and was responsible for the worldwide expansion and prominence of the company. He is a graduate of the Tulane University Business School and now acts as a senior advisor to The Parker Company.
Doug is Partner, President & CEO of the company, Co-Directs the FF&E Division and has been at TPC for over 30 years. In his early years with the company, Doug focused on the expansion and development of the company. Doug is currently responsible for managing the overseas offices as well as corporate sales and FF&E project procurement. Doug’s current concentration has been to diversify the company’s client base in the US to include assisted living facilities, sports arenas and restaurant groups. His foremost objective is maintaining the company’s core values of integrity, professionalism and exceptional service. Doug is a graduate with Honors from Tulane University in International Business & Political Science.
Philip is Partner, COO OS&E and Director of the company’s Operating Supplies & Equipment Division (OS&E) and has been with the company for over 27 years. In addition to corporate sales, Philip oversees all OS&E project procurement, and provides comprehensive Technical and Consulting Services to hotel and management companies, developers and individual hotel properties. In 1996 Philip co-managed TPC’s software development company Parker Reorder and was instrumental in innovating procurement technology for hospitality. Philip is a graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts.
Mitch is Partner, COO FF&E, co-directs the FF&E Division and has been with the company for over 27 years. Mitch spent nine years as Vice President-West Coast Operations, heading the Los Angeles office of the company, which included sales, and marketing and project management for the West Coast region. In 1996 Mitch relocated back to Miami to co-manage Parker Reorder and is currently responsible for corporate sales and marketing, FF&E project procurement and all operational aspects of the company including IT, HR and Accounting. Mitch is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts.
Linda is Senior Vice President, has been with the company for over 29 years and has held senior positions in FF&E, OS&E and Accounting. In addition to directing projects for the company’s largest clients for over 15 years, she has conducted training workshops for the company and helped to establish TPC’s core operating procedures. Major completed projects under Linda’s direction include Atlantis Resort Bahamas, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood & Tampa and multiple Nobu Restaurants worldwide. Linda is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a BA in History and Political Science, holds a Real Estate License in the State of Florida and is a graduate of the FBI’s Citizens’ Academy.
Marilyn is a Senior Project Director and has been with the company for over 31 years. She has been responsible for FF&E procurement of numerous projects throughout the country and the world. Major completed projects under Marilyn’s direction include the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Aspen, Colorado, the Hilton Baltimore Convention Center and Northern Quest Hotel & Casino, in Washington State. Marilyn has an AA from Dade College and holds licenses in both Real Estate and Insurance from the State of Florida.
Cheryn is a Senior Project Director for TPC and has been with the company for over 27 years. Cheryn has spent time in the company’s South Africa, Dubai and Shanghai offices in special projects and operations management. Cheryn manages TPC’s residential project portfolio (condominium and apartment buildings) and has been responsible for numerous projects throughout the world. Major completed projects under Cheryn’s direction include the Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Hotels in Bonnet Creek Orlando and the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida.
Nancy is a Senior Project Director and has been with the company for over 25 years. Nancy has handled many high-end projects for the company with major projects completed under her directyion including The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, Tucker’s Point Bermuda, and The Savoy, London. Nancy is fluent in both French and Spanish, is a graduate of the University of Florida and FIU School of Hospitality Management.
Ruth is a Senior Project Director and has been with the company for over 22 years. Ruth manages the Latin American Projects Division and has handled projects in Europe, Africa, and North, Central and South America. Major completed projects under Ruth’s Direction include the Bristol Hotel in Panama, the EN Plaza Hotel in Namibia, and the San Diego Padres Petco Park. Ruth is a graduate of the University of Texas El Paso with a Bachelor of Business Administration and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Fabian is a Project Director and started with the company in 1997. Fabian has over 15 years of hospitality experience in purchasing, project work, sales, and manufacturing. Fabian has been responsible for OS&E procurement of numerous projects throughout the USA, Caribbean, and the world. Major completed projects under Fabianís Direction include the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago, Marriott Marquis NYC, Discovery Bay in St. Lucia, Hotel El Conquistador in Puerto Rico, and Gran Esmeralda in Mexico. Fabian is fluent in both English and Spanish and is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Integrated Supply Chain and Operations Management.
Titus is Managing Director of TPC EMEA and oversees the Dubai and Zurich offices. Titus successfully turned The Parker Company (Middle East) from a local entity into one of the region’s leading hospitality procurement firms. Titus was ranked number 47 of the Power 50 by Hotelier magazine in 2009 and has handled significant projects throughout Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. Major completed projects include the Burj Al Arab Dubai, Atlantis The Palm Dubai, and The Armani Hotel Milan. Prior to his 16 years with TPC, Titus was a senior executive with Golden Tulip Hotels, Holiday Inns International and Inter-Continental Hotels.
Jason has been working in the Middle East for more than 12 years and joined our Dubai office as Director of FF&E. Having spent the last 11 years in interior manufacturing, interior fit out and luxury yacht interiors, Jason brings an abundance of core related knowledge acquired through his industry experience from his last posting of 6 years as General Manager of a leading EMEA manufacturing facility. Jason oversees the FF&E team, working on regional and international projects.
Sam is General Manager – Asia and heads the Shanghai office. Previously Sam acted as General Manager of Cheng Meng Furniture Pte. Ltd. and was responsible for establishing the business enterprise in Shanghai. Prior to his GM responsibilities at Cheng Meng, Sam spent 14 years at Singapore based Shanghai Chong Kee Furniture and was instrumental in growing the local and overseas market, eventually being posted in China to develop new business for the interior construction concern of the company. Sam is fluent in Chinese and English, has a Master of Management Degree from the University of Western Sydney, Australia, and a Degree of Architectural Technology at Singapore Polytechnic.
